c-Myc gene

This part consists of the mutated c-Myc gene, which is a regulator gene that codes for a transcription factor. The expressed protein controls multiple functions including cell cycle progression, apoptosis, and cellular transformation. The mutated version of c-Myc is expressed constitutively in many cancers.

Used to construct a plasmid that would produce c-Myc in the cell to simulate conditions in the body of patients with colorectal cancer.
